Gary's nipples are harder.

Alloy nipples? Why would you do that to yourself?

At the Nationals Gee was 100% running 729s, the mechanic even said, and there was a few wheels sitting about with the bloody sticker on! That was after this picture was taken as well, so stryke, babes, stfu.

Sub 28 is still entirely possible. However it's a slow drop from now on as I am saving money alongside spending.

The dropper is 491g, so there is a good 300g+ weight penalty there, but the difference it makes to your riding is worth it 100%.

New pedals are up next once they're released and available. Then bars and I'll figure the rest as I go along.

Right now though, I'm loving the bike and just enjoying riding. The bits I get just inspire confidence and each time I get faster/hit bigger I just get stoked on life and keep happy.

I have a day of DH tomorrow as the kid I'll be riding with can barely pedal at all. Ahh well. At least I can't get tired doing that sort of thing. lol.

Right now the bike sits at 29.83, that's with the Gravity Dropper post. All mountain is great. I generally ride the same stuff as I do when I concentrate on DH/FR. But when I ride all mountain I just tend to figure ways of linking everything together and enjoy it instead of push myself to my limits on the descents. Night rides are awesome. I love my helmet mounted Vision One. It's not the most powerful, but it is a great helmet light and I can see where I want to see, unlike bar mounted lights that only let you see where the stem points.

If I was asked to be a mod I'd have to think a fair bit. But my mind sways towards passing on the offer.

Hows your bike going then, any weight savings? Badass new parts?

It's going pretty good, you?

I've been thrashing my bike and trying to beat the lighter parts as a durability test. But I can only seem to break the old heavy parts!

Although, I've put a dent in my downtube, right next to the weld connecting the dt to the bb. I happened on a roadgap that I overshot into a deep rockgarden. I also brake my toe clipping a rock there and think even a DH bike would've dented there.

I don't think I'll ever be a moderator. It's not something that I aspire to be. I'd rather just lurk and occasionally post as I do.
